Following the submission of the official election results on Friday, October 24, 2025, to the Government of Alberta, Yellowhead County has released the official results for the 2025 Municipal Election. Votes from election day were combined with advance polls and special ballots, resulting in a Mayor and eight Council divisions.

Results became official at 12:00 P.M. on Friday October 24, 2025.

The voter turnout for Yellowhead County’s 2025 Municipal Government Election was 29%, compared to 35% in the 2021 election.

Yellowhead County wishes to thank all candidates for their dedication to public service and extends appreciation to the many election workers who ensured a smooth and successful election process

The newly elected Council are scheduled to be sworn in on Monday October 27, 2025 at the Yellowhead County Edson Administration office.
